Seva Means Service
“Seva” is a Sanskrit word that means selfless service. Being of service to the world. We’re here to be of service to those who need it most.
The Issue
There are 821 Million people who go to bed hungry every night. 1 out of every 9 people. Coronavirus could take this number above 1 Billion.
1 out of every 3 people have some sort of malnutrition.
How many Facebook friends do you have?
Imagine if 1 out of every 9 of them went hungry tonight.
That’s the reality of this world.
Our brothers and sisters need our help.

The Dream
We know everyone cares, but some don’t know how to get involved or how we can help.
We had the thought: what if we made it incredibly simple?
What if there were a way for ordinary people to help create a hunger-free world, simply by searching the internet?
From that, Seva was born.

The Charities

World Food Program
The World Food Program has consistently been on the front lines of the world’s worst hunger crises, fighting hunger and famine since 1962. They’ve provided over 15 billion lifesaving meals to 100 million of the world’s most vulnerable people in more than 80 countries each year.

Project Healthy Children
Project Healthy Children provides nutrients for the 1 in 3 people who lack proper nutrition. They help fortify food with needed nutrients to ensure children grow to their full potential. They currently serve 55 million people worldwide and are on track to serve 100M by 2025.
Transparency
We’re here to help. And that means being open about our finances. We’re planning on publishing our finances publicly each quarter, so everyone can see where money is going.
Responsibility
Is our heart big enough to contain the world? Is it big enough to extend to those in most need?
Seva was born from the responsibility we feel to help our fellow human beings.
